Job Description
The role will focus on securing tenders for the Tasmania business. Interstate applications will be considered for the right candidate.
Three options would be considered for interstate candidates
Relocation assistance to Tasmania
Working from Hazell Bros offices in Burleigh Heads (Queensland)
Working from home
The ROLE
Manages the tender process including providing advice, coordination, document preparation and central record management.
Assist the Pre-Contracts Manager with pre-tender 'go / no go' process to target and select opportunities to meet the future business needs.
Oversees the preparation of documentation and presents material for prequalification, bids and projects.
Manages the presentation of documents prior to submission ensuring compliance with Company style guide.
Coordinates and participates in tender reviews, ensuring the process is regularly reviewed to identify opportunities for improvement.
Undertakes other duties as per the position description related to the bidding and tendering processes.
Role is full time however we are willing to consider part-time for the right applicant if that is their preference.

Desired Skills and Experience
About YOU
Must Haves
A high level of proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel is essential.
Demonstrated experience in bid and business writing with proven ability to draft submission responses.
Demonstrated understanding of and experience in the tendering process.
Ability to work without direct supervision within a team including meeting deadlines for other team members seeking assistance when required.
Outstanding time management skills with the demonstrated ability to manage priorities and work to tight timeframes.
Well developed stakeholder management ability, both internally and externally.
Desirable
Qualification or experience in the Civil construction industry
Graphic design skills
