The ROLE
We are currently looking for experienced Project Managers to join the QLD Construction Team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of projects from conception to final completion, within HSE, Quality, budget, and program requirements. You will manage and develop internal and client relationships and prepare reports and budgets for senior management and stakeholders. In addition, you will be a 'hands-on' manager who provides clear leadership and management of project teams whilst ensuring and promoting safety.
About YOU
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:
- Extensive project management experience with regards to road infrastructure projects
- Professional qualification in civil engineering
- Sound professional engineering knowledge to identify and resolve issues
- Effective leadership and people management skills
- Sound negotiating skills and extensive experience in negotiating within a contractual environment
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to work autonomously within a team environment
- Ability to work away from home when required
