Job Description

The ROLE

We’re looking for a full time ICT Support Representative to join our team in Hobart.

In this entry-level role, you’ll be the first point of contact for all ICT support queries, requests, and incidents.  You’ll be part of a supportive and collaborative ICT team that values reliability, communication, and continuous learning.

Key duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Act as the first point of contact for IT support queries via phone, email, and our IT Service Management (ITSM) system
  • Manage and resolve Level 1 support requests and incidents for desktops, laptops, peripherals, and mobile devices
  • Use our ITSM platform, procedures, and knowledge base to deliver best-practice support
  • Liaise with users, the ICT team, and external vendors to ensure tickets are resolved within agreed service levels
  • Participate in a rotating roster to provide coverage for early/late shifts and on-call support as required

About YOU 

  • Enthusiastic, reliable, and have a passion for customer service and technology
  • Around 3 years of experience providing customer support via phone and email
  • A good understanding of common software and hardware principles
  • Strong communication skills.  Including being able to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience
  • The ability to work autonomously and manage shifting priorities
  • Familiarity with general IT troubleshooting practices
