Job Description

The ROLE

  • Maintain and reconcile all debtor records
  • Process invoices, credit applications, and monthly statements
  • Monitor aged trial balance and manage overdue accounts
  • Liaise with customers, operations teams, finance, and collection agencies
  • Create and maintain collections reports for the Group Financial Controller and Commercial teams
  • Ensure accurate invoice creation, data entry, and documentation
  • Support Reception and Finance team as required
  • Assist with general administrative tasks related to accounts receivable

About YOU 

  • Have proven experience in accounts receivable, including managing debtor portfolios and processing invoices accurately
  • Communicate confidently and professionally, both with internal teams and external customers
  • Bring strong negotiation skills and are comfortable following up overdue accounts with a balanced, customer‑centric approach
  • Are highly organised, able to manage competing priorities, and maintain accuracy under time pressure
  • Work well independently but also enjoy being part of a collaborative Finance team
  • Have strong numeracy and computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Are adaptable, solutions‑focused, and keen to improve processes where possible
  • Demonstrate reliability, accountability, and a positive, approachable manner
  • Take ownership of your work, meet commitments, and uphold high professional standards
  • Bring a mindset of continuous improvement and a willingness to support broader administrative needs when required
