Job Description
The ROLE
Assisting qualified Diesel Mechanics with servicing, repairs and maintenance of heavy vehicles.
General workshop duties including cleaning, parts handling and collection and tool maintenance.
Preparing vehicles, components, and work areas for mechanical work.
Carrying out basic mechanical tasks and general labouring duties.
Be able to work as part of a team and follow instructions, but also take the initiative when required.
Follow all safety procedures and quality standards.
Opportunity to develop skills and progress into further training or an apprenticeship.
About YOU
Current Australian Drivers Licence.
Previous workshop or mechanical experience preferred but not essential.
Strong work ethic, attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Commitment to maintaining safe work practices.
