Job Description
The ROLE
Assists with planning and construction phases of projects
Plans and supports onsite construction activities including providing direction as required
Assists in the preparation of the construction and environmental method statements and other project documentation as required
Sets up project quality controls in accordance with Project Specifications
Tracks daily production and costings within area of responsibility
Assists Project Manager in evaluating third party designs and construction methods
Ensures that all activities are completed in a safe and efficient way

Desired Skills and Experience
About YOU
Solid background in Asphalt & Sealing – ideally 3+ years or more relevant experience
Strong working knowledge of Civil Engineering principles
Good knowledge of regulatory governance, legislative requirements, codes of practice and compliance requirements
Highly developed communication skills both written and verbal to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues and management
Reliable, calm under pressure and ability to get the job done with a safety focus
Comfortable using IT, completing forms and undertaking basic reporting
Experience working with or for local councils is a plus
Must haves
Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent
Construction Industry White Card
Current drivers licence
Full working rights in Australia
Desirables
Current First Aid certification
Traffic control or TMI
