Job Description
The ROLE
Plan, manage, and oversee daily transport operations in Southern Tasmania to ensure timely and efficient delivery of all internal and external customer requirements.
Delivering accurate operational reporting and driving continuous improvement across cost, service and asset performance.
Ensuring compliance with all relevant Transport, Safety, and Environmental regulations.
A focus on preventative maintenance outcomes and strong asset management.
Management of NHVL associated permits including OSOM and PBS transport moves across Tasmania.
Identification and development of key personnel in line with future business requirements.
About YOU
Current Driver's Licence.
Proven experience as a Transport Manager or in a similar role.
Sound knowledge and experience with CoR, NHVL, load restraint, fatigue management and mass management practices.
Well developed people leadership skills with a passion for developing and engaging people.
Experience with Heavy Haulage, Tipper and Cement Tanker Operations (desirable, not essential).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a wide range of stakeholders.
Strong understanding of commercial & financial drivers that deliver strong results for the Hazell Bros Group.
