Job Description
The ROLE
Reporting directly into the QLD HSEQ Manager, the successful candidate will be required to work closely with key stakeholders that have HSE involvement in all projects that you are assigned to. This opportunity would suit a WH&S professional that lives between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast and is available to travel for work purposes when necessary. Your list of responsibilities will include (but is not limited to) the following:
Ensuring project teams are adequately trained to perform HSE responsibilities and provide ongoing coaching to ensure total compliance with internal HSE systems and legislative requirements.
Support the PM & Site Supervisor in the implementation of the Hazell Bros Integrated Management System
Incident management including return to work obligations for injured employees
Influence a positive attitude and commitment towards safety across the business
About YOU
Certificate IV in Workplace Health & Safety or equivalent competence
Previous experience on Civil projects, including TMR projects
A clear understanding of project specific contract HSE requirements
Whilst not essential, a qualification in AOD testing will be highly regarded
