Job Description
The ROLE
Reporting to the National People Manager you will support a diverse business unit with operations across Tasmania (90%) and Queensland (10%).
Embedded as part of the leadership team the role supports both business unit outcomes and implementation of Hazell Bros Group initiatives.
Provide expert guidance on employee relations, performance management and other workplace matters.
Lead and support organisational design, workforce planning and change management.
Assist key leaders with talent identification and development, succession planning and leadership capability.
Promoting employee engagement and enhancing the employee lifecycle experience.
Understand how internal/external trends and challenges affect our people and teams.
About YOU
Current Driver's Licence.
Qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline.
As an experienced professional you will likely have a minimum of 5 years working in a HR People Partner Role: operational white & blue collar environment would be advantageous.
The team responds well to someone who is highly organised and self-motivated - must be outcomes focused, thinking strategically, hands on, and operational.
The ability to work independently, partnering with key stakeholders and employees providing best-practice HR.
Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, especially with ability to build trust quickly, influence outcomes, negotiate, persuade, and engage across a wide range of stakeholders.
Solid understanding of IR/ER management including the application and interpretation of industrial instruments and legislation.
Hazell Bros is a national business based in Tasmania. This role is ideally based in Hobart, but we would consider other Tasmanian locations for the right candidate.
