Job Description
About THE ROLE
We are seeking a customer service superstar to take ownership of all aspects of the customer experience, ensuring our service is as premium as our product. Reporting to our Northern Sales Representative, you will work closely with production, transport, and external customers to deliver timely, accurate, and reliable service.
You will be a master at managing your own workload to meet client expectations – the industry moves quickly, and we need to ensure our communication is a top priority.
If you are a natural at customer service, this role presents exciting sales growth opportunities, with scope to initiate and manage sales calls while supporting your manager during leave periods.
On occasion, the role requires you to assist weighbridge operations. While our weighbridge is transitioning to an autonomous system, it will still require hands‑on support on occasion. This aspect of the role offers valuable exposure across the business and positions you as a key point of contact and the “face” of the quarry.
We can be flexible around your working commitments. This is a permanent part-time role, offering approximately 25-30 hours of work a week. Working hours through Monday-Friday would be advantageous to business needs.
Desired Skills and Experience
About YOU
You are a natural customer service professional with the ability to build strong relationships and deliver a consistently high standard of service
You communicate clearly and confidently, both over the phone and in writing, with customers, drivers, and internal stakeholders
Previous experience in customer service experience
You are proactive and organised, taking ownership of follow‑ups, resolving issues promptly, and keeping customers informed
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Current drivers licence
