About THE ROLE
We are seeking a Concrete Tester to contribute and assist with the growth and reliability of our business. We are open to receiving applicants looking for casual, PT and FT working opportunities - tell us what works for you!
This position supports our North West Operations team ideally from Burnie, but will also consider applicants hoping to be located out of our Breadalbane laboratory. Key duties may include but not limited to:
Visiting client project construction sites to collect concrete samples
Conduct concrete testing
Cleaning and maintenance of field sampling equipment
Ensure accurate and timely recording of information
Collaborating and communicating with concrete batchers and customers
Desired Skills and Experience
About YOU
Do you have experience with concrete? Have you been a formworker, finisher, driver, pumpy and are looking for a career change?
No experience necessary, all training will be provided on the job, but you will need to have:
Strong commitment to Safety 1st Always Works
Strong work ethic, be reliable and have the ability to work independently and manage own time
Strong communication / coordination skills and an attention to detail
Current unrestricted driver licence (manual). Regional travel is essential for the role and a Company pool vehicle will be provided.
Capability of undertaking physical work, compliant with applicable PPE requirements
Flexible with working hours. QUALTECH typically operates a 40 hour week, Monday to Friday between 07:30 and 16:30 however some weekend, early/late starts and overnight work may be required from time to time.
