Job Description

This role supports the delivery of compliant and high-quality asphalt and sealing works by assisting with quality assurance activities, documentation, and inspections which are compliant with internal systems, client specifications and Australian Standards.

The ROLE

  • Assists in implementing and maintaining quality assurance (QA) processes across asphalt production and sealing operations.
  • Participates in routine site and plant inspections to verify compliance with quality requirements.
  • Assists with verifying workmanship standards for asphalt paving, sealing preparation, spraying and finishing activities.
  • Supports the identification, reporting, and tracking of non‑conformances and corrective actions.
  • Assists in preparing and collating project quality records and handover documentation.
  • Promotes awareness of quality requirements across operational teams.
  • Ensures that all activities are completed in a safe and efficient way

Desired Skills and Experience

About YOU 

  • Relevant experience in construction industry (highly desirable).
  • Knowledge of engineering principals to maximise safety and minimise defects.
  • Practical knowledge of regulatory governance, legislative requirements, codes of practice and compliance requirements.
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal to effectively with customers, colleagues and management.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office software including Microsoft Project.

Must haves

  • Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Construction Industry White Card
  • Current drivers licence
  • Full working rights in Australia
