Job Description
The ROLE
The Weighbridge Administrator keeps our weighbridge running smoothly day to day, while being the friendly first point of contact for customers by phone, email and in person. You’ll play a key role in making sure everything moves efficiently to support production targets, all while delivering great customer service. This role suits someone who enjoys working with people, has a sharp eye for detail, and is comfortable working in a structured, safety and compliance‑focused environment.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Overseeing the weighbridge system at Long Hill Quarry and supporting our automated weighbridge system at other locations when need be
Entering data accurately into internal systems
Providing strong customer service to contractors and members of the public
Issuing dockets and receipts
Answering customer enquiries in person, online and via phone
Supporting site employees with general administration tasks (i.e. inductions)
Fostering safe work practices by embedding our policies, procedures, and safety requirements to employees and external customers
Our weighbridge operates between 6:00am to 4:30pm. We’re open to discussing your ideal working hours – we want to be flexible for the right person.
Desired Skills and Experience
About YOU
Previous administration or customer service experience
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
Confident using Microsoft 365 with strong general computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new systems
Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
Friendly and approachable nature – you’re the face of our business!
