Job Description
The ROLE
We currently have an opportunity for an experienced civil Safety Advisor to join our Queensland team, looking after our northern projects. The successful candidate will be required to work closely with key stakeholders and provide ongoing coaching to ensure total compliance with internal HSE systems and legislative requirements. Key responsibilities include the following:
Develop safety management plans and procedures in accordance with legislation
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor compliance
Support the PM & Site Supervisor in the implementation of the Hazell Bros Integrated Management System
Investigate incidents and accidents and take appropriate action
Collaborate with project managers and teams to promote a strong safety culture and ensure safe work practices.
Stay updated on relevant legislation, industry standards, and emerging safety trends.
About YOU
Certificate IV in Workplace Health & Safety or equivalent competence
Previous experience on TMR projects
Clear understanding of project specific contract HSE requirements
Qualification in AOD testing will be highly regarded
