Job Description

Crossroads is a division of Hazell Bros. This position is located in the Asphalt & Sealing team of Crossroads.

The ROLE

  • Estimates quantities and cost of materials, equipment, or labour to determine project feasibility as required.
  • Assists in the preparation of contract documents, tendering and procurement of projects
  • Assists in the preparation of the construction and environmental method statements and other documentation as required in the project planning conditions as required.
  • Assists with daily costing of nominated projects as required.
  • Direct construction, operations, and maintenance activities at project site as required.
  • Ensure that all activities are completed in a safe and efficient way.
  • Any other duties or tasks as reasonably directed.

Desired Skills and Experience

About YOU 

  • 3+ years or more relevant experience in construction industry.
  • Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Sound knowledge of engineering principals to maximise safety and minimise defects.
  • Practical knowledge of regulatory governance, legislative requirements, codes of practice and compliance requirements.
  • Highly developed communication skills both written and verbal to effectively with customers, colleagues and management.  
  • Sound understanding of Microsoft Office software including Microsoft Project.
