Job Description
Crossroads is a division of Hazell Bros. This position is located in the Asphalt & Sealing team of Crossroads.
The ROLE
Estimates quantities and cost of materials, equipment, or labour to determine project feasibility as required.
Assists in the preparation of contract documents, tendering and procurement of projects
Assists in the preparation of the construction and environmental method statements and other documentation as required in the project planning conditions as required.
Assists with daily costing of nominated projects as required.
Direct construction, operations, and maintenance activities at project site as required.
Ensure that all activities are completed in a safe and efficient way.
Any other duties or tasks as reasonably directed.

Desired Skills and Experience
About YOU
3+ years or more relevant experience in construction industry.
Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent.
Sound knowledge of engineering principals to maximise safety and minimise defects.
Practical knowledge of regulatory governance, legislative requirements, codes of practice and compliance requirements.
Highly developed communication skills both written and verbal to effectively with customers, colleagues and management.
Sound understanding of Microsoft Office software including Microsoft Project.
