Job Description
The ROLE
As a Diesel Mechanic at Hazell Bros in Hobart, you will play a crucial hands-on role servicing and maintaining our diverse range of Assets. Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting routine maintenance on mobile plant and equipment, including inspecting, servicing, and repairing as necessary.
Diagnosing faults and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in mobile plant and equipment.
Performing preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and longevity of our assets.
Utilising diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
Collaborating with other team members to prioritise workload and ensure timely completion of repairs.
Adhering to health and safety regulations while working in the workshop environment.
About YOU
Trade qualified in Diesel Mechanic/Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to industry regulations
Flexibility to work on-site as required, including occasional weekends or emergency callouts
