Job Description
The ROLE
Provide leadership, supervision and technical support to the Light Vehicle team with a strong focus on growing internal and external relationships.
Manage our long-standing external contracts including Hydro Tasmania and Motorola.
Contribute to training and succession plans to ensure operational excellence is achieved and sustained in the long term.
Oversee and coordinate AIS vehicle inspection and liaise with the Department of State Growth.
Experience with scheduling, job delegation and coordination of employees.
Leading preventative maintenance programs with sound knowledge of job costing and time frames.
About YOU
Light or Heavy Vehicle Trade Qualification.
Current Australian Drivers Licence.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role with demonstrated leadership experience.
Sound knowledge of R&M for Light Vehicles – variety of makes & models.
Sound influencing, negotiation and stakeholder management skills including the ability to advocate change and win over resistance.
Highly developed communication skills both written and verbal to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong business acumen, commercial strategy, and financial management skills.
