Job Description

The ROLE

  • Maintains inventory levels sufficient to meet ongoing needs including managing stock item registers and inventory details.
  • Receives purchases and compares goods received with invoices.
  • Coordinates the maintenance and upkeep and repairs of assets for both the yard and as required for projects.
  • Coordinates and participates in general store maintenance programs including (but not limited to) stock takes, bin maintenance, labelling/tagging, pricing & issue resolution.
  • Ensures store and yard kept in a tidy and safe condition.
  • Any other duties or tasks as reasonably directed.

Desired Skills and Experience

About YOU 

  • 2+ years previous experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of basic wharehouse principals including store operations and inventory management.
  • Knowledge of appropriate manual handling techniques.
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.  
  • Sound understanding of Microsoft Office software.
  • Medium rigid drivers licence (or higher) and a clean driving record.
  • Forklift ticket
  • Construction Industy White Card (or ability to obtain one).
  • Dogman or riggers ticket (desirable)
