Job Description

The ROLE

  • Permanent part-time role at 32.5hrs per week. Scope to become full time role in the future if it suits successful candidate and there is a business need.
  • Payroll data entry for our Civil employees, working closely with Payroll team to ensure the accurate reporting of payroll.
  • Accounts Payable - entering/processing AP invoices, following up on authorisations and other associated activities.
  • Accounts Receivable - entering/processing AR invoices, following up on authorisations/approvals and other associated activities.
  • Receipting accounts receivable payments from bank statement.
  • Internal recharges and data processing.
  • Answering phone with occasional back up to receptionist
  • Any other duties or tasks as reasonably directed.

Desired Skills and Experience

About YOU 

  • 2+ years previous experience in a similar role
  • Sound understanding of Microsoft Office software suite.
  • Knowledge and experience with both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes.
  • Data entry experience.
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal to effectively communicate with stakeholders.  
  • Experience with either JobPac or Great Plains finance systems (highly desirable) or similar programs.
