Job Description
The ROLE
Mentor, supervise and provide technical support to the team.
Prior experience with scheduling, job delegation and coordination of workshop employees is essential.
Maintain an understanding of customer requirements and expectations and provide accurate and timely communications to Key Stakeholders
Exposure to a diverse range of machine shop techniques typically associated with the heavy industrial machinery.
Promote and support a safety culture that effectively manages risks in line with company’s policies and procedures whilst achieving continuous improvement.
Ensure commercial targets are within budget and identify commercial risks and opportunities.
About YOU
Relevant Trade Qualification (Fitting and Machining).
Experience in a similar role with demonstrated leadership experience is desirable.
Able to demonstrate a command of wide-ranging highly specialised technical, creative or conceptual skills.
The ability to prioritise workloads with excellent internal and external stakeholder management skills.
Strong technical knowledge and practical skills in machining and related production processes.
Excellent verbal and written communication with a positive approach to leadership.
Willingness and ability to support and mentor team members.
