Job Description
The ROLE
Develop strategies to expand our customer base, particularly within industries that heavily rely on workshop-based operations (e.g., Fabrication, Metalworking, Hardox, or Heavy Equipment).
Develop and implement sales plans including contract negotiations and pricing with customers to achieve revenue targets.
Track and analyse sales performance to identify areas for improvement.
Engage with potential clients who require workshop services or products, such as custom Fabrication, Welding, or Machining.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
Act as the first point of contact for customers, addressing their needs and concerns.
Collaborate with internal teams providing technical support to ensure customer satisfaction and customers receive tailored solutions.
Attend industry events and trade shows to network and promote our Tasmanian workshops and our current/future offerings.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities.
About YOU
Workshop experience with a familiarity with industries using Hardox steel, such as mining, quarries, construction, metal works and recycling.
Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
Ability to pitch products effectively, negotiate deals, and manage sales processes.
Understand customer needs and requirements to develop solutions for specific market segments.
Understand and communicate the advantages of Hardox’s steel products, like durability and wear resistance, in applications such as mining and construction equipment.
Strong networking & relationship skills and are adaptable to thrive in changing environments.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and specifications are met.
